How It Works
As qualified, vetted architects, we work to the Royal Institute of British Architect’s Plan of Work. This is a system of stages for a project that carefully plans out the key deliverables from consultation through to monitoring the completed building. By being open about this process, we can tailor our service to meet your requirements depending on how much of the build you want us to be involved with; saving cost.
Preparation and Brief
Here, we define the project. What are your requirements? How can we add value? Usually covered in the free 15 minute consultation. Book here.
We go through iterations (we usually allow for 3 rounds of changes) to find the right design for your project. When finalised, we can prepare this design into a Planning Package then act as agent for your planning application.
Building on the work in Stage 03, we add further detail here to create the drawings necessary for Building Control applications. We can again act as agent.
Here, we produce construction drawings with the most detail. This is particularly useful for bespoke projects where attention to detail is very important. We are usually employed for all stages with this option to ensure the design is built to these drawings.
We can manage, tender, administer the contract and/or build your project. However you want us to be employed, we can discuss. Send us an email or call through today.
We snag the finished build, ensuring the scheme is in an acceptable condition.
Environmental design is at our core. So, we can even monitor the performance of the build in the months and years after completion, offering aftercare and recommendations for furture improvement.
